In our leaflet you will find a guide to all the lettuce we grow and recipes using ingredients from the farm shop to create a range of delicious salads at home! Because whole head lettuce are grown until they are mature they have much more robust leaves so offer a completely different eating experience to our baby leaves.
To prepare remove the leaves from the core by pulling gently from the base of the leaf. You can either wash in cold water and then shake dry in a tea towel or use a salad spinner to remove all the water. As there are lots of nooks and crannies in salad leaves like butterhead and lollo rosso be vigilant as any water remaining will dilute your salad dressing.
