This not only helps us to ensure that we have enough staff to run the event, it also ensures a healthy foot flow through the fields and keeps the day fun and enjoyable for all. If you’re keen to try our sweetcorn but are unable to make the weekend, we will have some available in the farm shop, with more likely coming through in the weeks following the event.
WHEN TO COME ALONG
A day ticket (Saturday & Sunday) means you can join us anytime from 11am and stay until 4pm. You are welcome to turn up at any point throughout the day. But please arrive no later than 2.30pm to ensure you make the most of the day before our fields shut at 4pm.
The Farm Night evening ticket (Saturday only) means you can join us anytime from 6pm and stay until 10.30pm.
The day & evening tickets mean you can arrive anytime from 11am and stay as late at 10.30pm.
TICKET PRICES AND WHAT IT COVERS
These prices are to cover the set-up costs such as marquees, seating, staff and facilitates. The children’s ticket includes a garden gnome trail (with a sweetie prize at the end), circus skills workshop by Storm in a Teacup and other free activities such as hay bale mountain, space hoppers and duck racing. All children must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
Please note, ticket prices do not include the cost of the sweetcorn and some activities are not included in the price.
DOGS
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the event area only. However, due to health & hygiene reasons, dogs aren’t permitted in the polytunnels or fields for the picking part of the day. With this being an event with lots of children, dogs must remain on leads in the event area and any mess picked up immediately.
ACCESSIBILITY
This event is held in our PYO area which is grass. In the event of rain this may become difficult for wheelchair or mobility scooters. Please contact us for advice at info@secretts.co.uk or via our social media pages and we’ll do our very best to advise.
REFRESHMENTS
Only food and drink purchased at the event may be consumed in the PYO enclosure. We serve hot food from 12pm, hot & cold drinks, snacks and will be available from 11am.
TICKET REFUND AND EXCHANGES
For full terms and conditions please click here. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable unless we are required to cancel the event. We are unable to refund or exchange tickets once they have been purchased. Please check your order carefully before completing your purchase to make sure you have selected the correct date and time for your visit.
A NOTE ABOUT PICKING CONDITIONS: MOTHER NATURE’S CALL
As a working farm, we rely on nature’s bounty, and that means the weather plays a big role in when our crops are ready for picking. Unfortunately, this also means we can’t always predict the exact timing of peak ripeness for all our crops. Whilst unlikely, there is a chance we may have to limit the amount you are able to pick on the day to ensure enough produce for everyone. We apologise in advance for any disappointment this may cause but can assure you plenty of fun on the farm regardless!
